Sarah briggs, M.S., CCC-SLP, NIDHW Certified

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Sarah graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with her B.S. in Speech Pathology and dual minors in Human Development and Family Studies and Developmental Disabilities in 2014. She then obtained her M.S. in Speech Pathology in 2016. Sarah has practiced as a speech therapist in a wide variety of settings, including private practice, public and private school, inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital, and skilled nursing settings.

Sarah’s passion for providing speech therapy services started in college when she began working for a nonprofit organization that provided summer camp services for children and adults with disabilities. She further participated in a pilot program at UNR called Path to Independence in which she mentored fellow college aged students with disabilities to help guide them through the social communication aspects of the college experience.

Sarah recently became certified as a provider with the National Institute for Digital Health and Wellness, whose mission serves to help individuals, families, schools, organizations and our planet to thrive in the new, challenging landscape of the Digital Age. She has taken a particular interest in how screen time impacts children and adults with ADHD, and is looking forward to coaching clients and families in taking charge their digital use in everyday life, such as navigating screen time, social media use, and how to create a sustainable digital use plan for themselves and their families.
